POLICY FOR ARTWALK NO-SHOWS:

Unfortunately we had a few no-shows at the last ArtWalk, leaving a few empty spots that could have been filled by other artists. Because we do not wish this to become a regular occurrence, the Guild is instituting a No-Show Policy "effective immediately" that applies to all future ArtWalks.

This is a high visibility event for the Guild, and one that I think will become one of the largest and most successful Art Walks in the state. It is unfortunate that we have to create rules to deal with this kind of problem, but I had several visitors comment about the empty spots, and the empty spots are a reflection on the Guild, and not what I personally want people attending the Art Walk to see. The new policy takes effect immediately.

ARTWALK CANCELLATION POLICY: EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY

MEMBERS

If you are a member and register to attend the Art Walk, then decide for whatever reason that you cannot attend the exhibit, you MUST inform Sal or Ron via email or phone that you are canceling 24 HOURS prior to the Art Walk 6pm event. If you do not inform us of your cancellation and you *NO-SHOW, you will be placed on a "probationary status" with the Art Walk and the East Valley Art Guild. If you *NO-SHOW for a second Art Walk, you will be not be allowed to participate in future Art Walks for six months. 

NON-MEMBERS

Notice: If you are a non-member and pay the $25.00 registration fee for the Art Walk , then later decide for whatever reason that you cannot attend, you MUST inform Sal or Ron via email or phone that you are canceling 24 HOURS prior to the Art Walk event. The $25.00 registration fee will be applied to the next ArtWalk event registration fee. 

No Notice: If you are a non-member and pay the $25.00 registration fee for the ArtWalk, then later decide for whatever reason that you cannot attend, and you do not give the 24-hour cancellation notice, your $25.00 will not be refunded. You will be placed on a "probationary status" with the ArtWalk. If you N0-Show for another ArtWalk, you will be banned from exhibiting in the ArtWalk for 6 months.

*A NO-SHOW is defined as not being set up 15 minutes before event time and/or not displaying for the duration of the set event time. This policy will be clearly posted on the Guilds web site, and will become a check box on the application that you have read and understand the policy when you register for the ArtWalk.
